My Heart Behind the Lens
Before I am a photographer, I am a mother. My world revolves around my son, Tyson.
When Tyson was diagnosed with Level 2 non-verbal autism at age three, my life took a beautiful, challenging, and necessary detour. To support him through 30 hours of weekly therapy, I stepped away from my camera for two years. It was a heavy weight to carry at times, but there is absolutely nothing I wouldn’t do for him.
Today, my heart is full. Tyson is graduating from Kindergarten, and seeing his progress has been the greatest gift of my life.
Beside me through every high and low is my fiancé, Devin. We recently celebrated 11 years together, and he remains my absolute rock and the love of my life. Our journey as a family hasn’t always been easy, but I wouldn’t change a single second of it. This life has taught me the value of the "small" moments—and it’s that same perspective I bring to every session I capture for you.

My time away from the camera taught me that the most beautiful parts of life aren't found in the perfectly polished poses, but in the quiet, unspoken spaces in between. Whether it’s the way a child rests their hand on your shoulder or a shared look that says more than words ever could, I approach every session with the patience and intention those moments deserve. To me, photography isn't just about 'capturing a look'—it’s about honoring the rhythm of your family and creating a space where you feel seen, understood, and truly at home.
